The Official Rules

1. Captains & Voting

  • Each year, all players vote to elect the number of captains needed (based on how many groups we will have).
  • You may not vote for yourself.
  • Captains from the previous year are ineligible for re-election until the following year.

2. Draft Night

  • Captains will hold a draft night to select their foursomes.
  • The previous year's champions remain together as one team and are not included in the draft.
  • Members of the Legends Group are grandfathered in and exempt from the draft.

3. Scoring & Scorekeeping

  • 18Birdies may be used for yardage only. It may not be used for live scoring.
  • Teams must keep their scores private until the final scorecard is submitted in The Buttery Nook.
  • This ensures no one knows the standings until all are gathered together.

4. Tie Procedure

  • An official scorekeeper will confirm if a tie has occurred.
  • In the event of a tie, a playoff round will be held on the 18th hole to determine the winner.

The fine print, the gimme etiquette, and every ruling in between: the commissioner's word is final. Questions? Text John.
